He has established an enviable win record in Open, Amateur, Ladies and Jr. Exhibitor Western Pleasure, Open and Amateur Hunter Pleasure, Junior Exhibitor Walk-Jog Western Pleasure and Equitation as well as Walk-Jog Trail!  He is extremely well trained to drive and would also make an outstanding Classic Pleasure Driving/Saddle or Carriage Driving horse.  He has been unflappable in the show ring for us and we feel he is ideally suited for the Amateur, Lady, Jr. Exhibitor or Walk-Trot/Jog rider.  He has had some pattern work, as well.

"Vinny" was a consistent winner in the Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse division, having won at the Hunter Pleasure Three Year Old Class at the prestigious Morgan Medallion Regional in Santa Barbara, California, and the Four Year Old class at the Circle J Regionals in Denver, CO the following year.  Since leaving Rickford Stables when his owners moved to Pennsylvania, he has alternated between pasture and show life, and has been introduced to Over Fences training.  He was leased by a junior exhibitor for this phase of his training.

Just nine years old, "Vinny" is ready to move on and carry a new owner to the Winner's Circle!  The only reason his owner is offering him for sale is that she is concentrating on her breeding program and a gelding just doesn't fit in!  This horse  can easily be dusted off and put back into serious competition.  As you can see in these photos, he's drop-dead gorgeous!

"C~Quin" was a successful Western Pleasure Junior Horse in the short career she had before being bred for her first foal, having two Reserve Championships to her credit in tough competition.  She is also trained to drive and has recorded wins as a Classic Pleasure Driving Junior Horse as a three year old.

She is an elegant individual as befits her pedigree.  She is sired by Muliple Worl Champion "Nicoria" and out of "RRG Mirabella", the highly regarded producer for Rancho Rio Grande Morgans, she being by World Champion "Nostradamus" and out of a daughter of "UVM Flash"

She was test bred as a maiden mare and settled on her first cover.  Her pregnancy was non-eventful and she delivered an extremely nice colt by "Equinox Courage Underfire" in May of 2009.  She proved to be an excellent and doting mother.  She should be of interest to color breeders as her foal was not only a palmonio, but a Sabino as well!  Though she has not been tested, we feel she has proven she carries the gene for Sabino.

She was not bred back for 2010 due to our show schedule, but could easily be bred to the stallion of your choice.  She could also be placed back in training and returned to the show ring, but we feel she has a major contribution to make as a producer.

She is our personal mare and we don't have time to do her justice either in the ring or the breeding shed, so she is reluctantly offered for sale.

TALK ABOUT A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY!

This colt is the result of a test breeding between two maiden individuals and has exceeded our expectations!

Not only does he exhibit quality of conformation and an outstanding disposition, but he has demonstrated a willingness to learn and retain what he has been taught.

He has a gorgeous head and eye, beautiful length of neck, excellent front, depth of body and spring of rib, correct bone and feet, and a length of hip that we rarely see in Morgans today. 
He appears to have inherited his sire's palomino color and his dam's apparent tendency to carry the Sabino gene.  He is currently being tested at UC Davis.

We feel he will be an outstanding candidate for today's deep Western Pleasure division.  He has been raised around cattle and shows interest.  Because he is our own personal colt, we are regretfully offering him for sale only due to the client conflict that may arise when he is old enough to begin his show career.  If he is not sold, we will try to bring him out in Western Pleasure Junior Horse classes as a three year old.  Wouldn't you rather be his owner when they call out his name?
