STALLIONS CURRENTLY STANDING AT STUD

WINTERGREEN COLORADO   ~   EQUINOX COURAGE UNDERFIRE

It is with great pride that we offer the following stallions standing at stud to the public.  Both have been performance tested in the show arena as well as worked on cattle and have proven to be individuals of merit with exceptional Morgan temperament.  Both are young stallions, just embarking on their breeding careers, and have limited foal crops on the ground from test breedings.  For those who prefer live breeding, we offer excellent individual paddocks with shelter for visiting mares and have the very best in reproductive Veterinary services available.
We welcome your interest in them and are happy to answer any and all inquiries.

"WINTERGREEN COLORADO"
(HVK Santana  x  TVM Gwinever)

2001                                        Dark Bay                                        15 Hands

"Roo" has proven himself to be a very versatile performer, having wins in both the hotly comptitive Hunter Pleasure and Western Pleasure divisions, as well as displaying amazing ability in working cattle, both sorting and heading and heeling.  He is a compact individual with excellent bone and feet, and his soundness has never come into question.  He was gelded in 2009 to allow his Amateur Owner to show him in Ladies classes, but is available at stud via Frozen semen and has settled 100% of his mares to date when bred this way.   All shipments are handled through Royal Vista Reproductive Services.

"Roo" is one of the last sons of the highly respected Sport Horse Sire, HVK Santana, making him a half-brother to numerous World and National Champions, such as Something Blue, Brittany Lee, Wintergreen Don Diego, Wintergreen Shaman, Pindar, etc.  HVK Santana developed a dynasty of the highest quality champions in Hunter Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Dressage, and Trail, to mention a few.  "Roo's" pedigree enables a breeder to access the up-close genetics of Beamington, Don Again of Hanover, Lippitt Ethan Georgia, UVM Promise, UVM Highlight and Flying Jubilee.

"Roo" has had only limited opportunity at stud due to his show career, but has one filly on the ground and two more foals arriving this spring.

IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT WE REPORT THE LOSS OF THIS TALENTED STALLION ON APRIL 12, 2010
AS A RESULT OF AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO HIS SPRING VACCINATIONS.  FOR THOSE WHO CONTINUE
TO VALUE HIS BLOODLINES, HIS FROZEN SEMEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE.

2010 Stud Fee:  $1,000 LFG
Frozen Semen Only

ROO'S FIRST FOAL!

Displayed here are a few photos of Roo's first foal out of the mare, HBS Clearly Audacious (Clearview Commander  x  Waseeka's Audacious), a beautiful mare who was a consistent winner in Hunter Pleasure, including at the Morgan Medallion Regional as a Junior Horse.

She is an extremely nice fily with a beautiful head,  great length of neck,  tremendous balance and correct legs.  She has shed out as a lovely liver chestnut and is sure to be a quality candidate in the Hunter or Western Pleasure divisions!

"EQUINOX COURAGE UNDERFIRE
"
(Goldtree Flamboyant  x  Equinox Courabelle)

2004                                        Palomino                                        15.3 1/2 Hands

"Fire" offers breeders an opportunity to dip into the time honored bloodlines produced by Equinox Morgan Farm and Triple S Morgans.  For those who wish to introduce these lines into their program, you will be opening the gateway to Triple S Golden Bows, Courage of Equinox, Goldtree Menolly, Culpeper Crescendo, Chasley Superman, Windy Hill Maestro, Orcland Leader and Bennfield, just to name a few!

This exceptional young stallion has enjoyed an extremely successful beginning to his show career, amassing Regional Championships and National Top Tens in Junior Horse and Open Classes, and has taken his Amateur Owner to victory in the hotly contested Amateur Western Pleasure division on the Regional Level.  He has soft, balanced gaits coupled with an extremely "User Friendly" temperament.  He continues to break down color barriers wherever he is shown.

His first foal from a test breeding is on the ground and is exceptional!
